How to Restore Your computer to A Previous Point

Method 1:

1. Click the start button.
2. Select All Programs.
3. Select Accessories.
4. Select System Tools.
5. Select System Restore.
6. Select Restore my computer to an earlier time, then click Next
7. Scroll back to the date you wish to restore, then click next.
8. The computer will start to shutdown, then restore, then shutdown and restart itself.

Method 2:

1. Click Start and then Control Panel.
2. Double click System.
3. Select System Restore tab.
   Make sure there is NO tick in the box “ Turn off System Restore on all drives.
4. Click the Settings button
   Adjust how much hard disk space for your Restore Points.

How to repair system restore

System Restore is a component of Microsoft’s, Windows XP systems which allows the rollback of system files, registry keys, installed programs, etc., to a previous state in the event of a system failure.
